Awards

AACB Oral Awards

AACB will be awarding prizes for the best oral presentations, with first, second and third prizes as follows:

  • First Prize of AUD $600
  • Second Prize of AUD $400
  • Third Prize of AUD $200

Each prize recipient receives an award certificate and cash to the value of the prize in Australian dollars. This will be provided at the meeting.

Prizes will be presented during the Closing Ceremony on Sunday.

Conditions of Award:

Your abstract must be accepted for an oral presentation, and the presenting author must be registered to attend (and paid in full) to be eligible for the Oral prize awards.

The award is not available to APFCB Congress organising committee and scientific program committee members, AACB Executive, or members of the judging panel.


APFCB Poster Awards

APFCB will be awarding prizes for the best poster presentations, with first, second and third prizes as follows:

  • First Prize of AUD $600
  • Second Prize of AUD $400
  • Third Prize of AUD $200

Each prize recipient receives an award certificate and cash to the value of the prize in Australian dollars. This will be provided at the meeting. Prizes will be presented during the Closing Ceremony on Sunday.

The award is not available to APFCB Congress organising committee and scientific program committee members, APFCB Executive Board, or members of the judging panel.


Michael Metz Award for Best Paediatric Poster

The Michael Metz Award, kindly sponsored by Tze Ping Loh, will award a prize for the best paediatric poster, to the value of AUD$500.

The prize recipient will receive an award certificate and cash to the value of AUD$500 in Australian dollars. This will be provided at the meeting. The award will be presented during the Closing Ceremony on Sunday.

Conditions of Award:

Your abstract must be accepted for a poster, under the theme of ‘Neonatal/Paediatric disease’, and the presenting author must be registered to attend (and paid in full) to be eligible for the award.

The award is not available to APFCB Congress organising committee and scientific program committee members, or members of the judging panel.
